The Upper Crust

I went to this bakery in Collaroy, NSW to buy a sausage roll, but there were so many limousines and horse-drawn carriages parked out the front I couldn’t get in. Weird.. they must have really good sausage rolls.

UPDATE: I’m currently in London and came across another Upper Crust Bakery – part of a chain. This one is on Lower Road. No sign of the Queen.

My partner and I were having quite afternoon pies at The Upper Crust when this lovely guy (who we have never seen before) pulled up , went in to pick an order of pies, walks out and places them on the back seat, then comes over to us with two baguettes… he wanted us to have them… what a lovely guy!! Thank you…
